"Fred Franz State Farm is a wonderful office with friendly and knowledgeable insurance reps. - I switched my policies over to this office when I moved and have been very satisfied with my experiences here. I’ve also met Fred, he is a respectable agent with over 30+ years experience and tells it like it is, honest man. I would disregard the few negative reviews because from my perspective, it seems that those individuals weren’t on top of their own responsibilities and want someone else to blame. "Been with SF for roughly 33 years now for home and auto insurance. However, I must say that switching Agents (away from the Franz group) was the best thing I could have done. Without going in to specifics here, let's highlight some of their "general" customer service traits. Rude. False statements. No initiative to help the clients. "Convenient" amnesia when challenged about multiple attempts to increase rates which were not justifiable. Then.....reluctant to return or credit overcharges. Got insulted when their mistake was mentioned. Last but not least, good luck trying to speak with Mr. F himself. No direct numbers given out. The staff doesn't like it when you make this request. Seemed offended in my opinion. It actually took switching to another agent for this Agent to finally..........present himself. Five or so years to actually call, only wondering why we were switching Agents. Sad thing was the excuse given for the office's communication actions where that, "we have many customers to support and therefore it's not always possible for me personally, or our staff to be able to assist everyone when they want." Huh? Uh....okay... And that's when it hit me. Say no more. I'm outta here... Almost two years later and still doing business through another SF agent, just down the street practically. What a HUGE difference it makes when Agents and staff truly care about their clients/customers."

"Avoid this office at all costs. Like another reviewer, my credit card expired at the same time I was out of state getting married. When I realized I had not been charged for my insurance the following month, I called and updated my card information with them. Three months after updating my card info, I got pulled over and ticketed for driving under a suspended license without knowledge. The officer confiscated my license and my plates. During the time that my card had expired, State Farm suspended my license. My fault for letting my card expire and not updating it right away? Absolutely. But when I was on the phone with them updating my information 3 months prior, no one could inform me "Hey, by the way, we suspended your license."?! Nope. They just let me drive around without a phone call, or email, or letter making me aware of my situation. Why bother paying them over a hundred dollars a month when there is absolutely NO communication from their side? "Like a good neighbor" is not something that this office knows anything about..."

"I was with this insurance company for 5 years because my parents used them. I was using the automatic bill pay feature, and when I got a new card in the mail, I forgot to call them and tell them. 2 months passed and I received no notification from them that I had missed any payments (they had my new address, phone number and E mail on file). My first notification was from the DMV stating that my license was going to be suspended! Can a girl get a phone call or an E-mail at least? When I called the office, they said that I "should have checked my bank account" and that they "tried" to send me a letter. They then were "nice" enough to send me another quote that was 3 times my original payment. Obviously I have switched to another company."

"It is so difficult to find an insurance agent that has experience and a staff team that is willing to help you along the way. This is the one agency where I have discovered that. "I recently moved to the area from Puerto Rico. I spoke to several different insurance companies and agents searching for a policy that works for me. Fred’s office took the time to explain all of their services and make sure I had the coverage I needed. It is always a pleasure doing business with Fred and his staff."
